Awaken a Nui Statue when you reach it. The recorded tutorial says awakened statues can serve as revival destinations and can be selected on the World Map for fast travel. Walking past a statue and awakening it are different actions.
Build your travel network as you explore
Approach a statue and follow its awakening interaction. Check the World Map afterward and confirm that the destination is available. Do this before continuing into a long unexplored route so you know which return points you have established.
The extracted tutorial is dated October 24. It describes awakened destinations, not travel to every undiscovered statue. A database marker on a map does not unlock that location for your character.
Read the travel confirmation
Select the awakened destination on the World Map and inspect the confirmation, including any required resource. Do not assume travel is free or that every journey has the same cost.
The November 4 maintenance notice changed Hereafter Stone so it could no longer be sold; the notice explicitly says it can still be discarded. Keeping it for future use is a recommendation, not a game restriction on discarding. This change does not provide a complete travel-cost table or an unlimited supply method.
Distinguish the statue's different functions
Offering Nui Tears increases maximum HP; that is a progression action, not proof of a new travel destination. Channel switching at a Nui Statue is another separate function, with its own restrictions. Read the action you are confirming instead of assuming every statue interaction teleports you.
If your goal is recovering from terrain or a stuck instance, use the relevant Escape or revive instructions. A travel network helps with movement, but is not a guarantee that a blocked quest will repair itself.
