Complete all of the Hersander’s Tower offerings in a zone to unlock that zone’s Hereafter Challenge. The developer overview also describes a unique accessory reward for completing the set.
Work from each tower’s riddle
Each tower presents a riddle describing the item it wants. Find the requested offering and satisfy that tower, then continue with the others in the same zone. The relevant item may be nearby or require exploration elsewhere.
Keep a note of the exact riddle and which towers you have already completed. This helps separate a missing offering from a missing tower. This guide explains the unlock process; it does not provide invented item answers or an unverified location list.
What happens after the unlock?
The Hereafter Challenge selects a strengthened version of one of that zone’s bosses. It is timed, and clear times appear on a leaderboard. Completing the offerings opens a further combat challenge rather than automatically awarding a leaderboard time.
Before attempting it, review your weapon traits and available HP upgrades. Returning after exploration is consistent with the progression system; a universal minimum level or damage threshold is not provided in the announcement.
Do not confuse the challenge with Hereafter Stones
The November 4 maintenance made Hereafter Stones unsellable, while still allowing them to be discarded. That item change does not establish that throwing away a Stone unlocks a tower or resets a challenge. Keep items whose purpose you have not confirmed and follow the tower’s actual offering prompt.
