A trade run transports goods from a trading post to another post for a delivery reward. That reward can be items rather than Gold. Before you buy or craft cargo, decide whether you want currency, materials or seedlings and check what the selected route actually pays.
Check the origin and destination together
RaidDex's November 4 trade report identifies a good's Trademark Region as its origin and describes selling it at a different post outside that home. Match the good to the starting post, then inspect the destination before paying for it.
Do not select a route just because its displayed reward number is larger. A quantity of materials is not a Gold payout. Compare the reward type with the component or currency your next project needs.
Prepare the cargo and wagon
Read the selected trade good's ingredients, any certificate requirement and its packing fee. Check your available trade permit and wagon loading information before investing in a full load.
Load the intended goods, confirm the destination, and follow a route you can navigate. Leave yourself time for the journey rather than treating the delivery value as instant income.
Compare your result with the cost
At the destination, inspect the actual exchange and confirm the reward you will receive. For a Gold-paying run, compare the proceeds against cargo preparation and other displayed costs. For an item-paying run, decide whether those materials solve a real crafting need.
Published route calculators are useful planning aids, but the current trade window controls your transaction. This guide does not promise a fixed profit, a fastest route or protection from every journey hazard. Keep the starting cost and actual reward from your own run if you want to compare future options.
