How does Berserker Warhammer store and spend Meteor Hammer power?

Warhammer is Berserker's more destructive alternative to Axe and Shield. Its official class profile describes storing power through Meteor Hammer and deciding how to release it. The setup has a hit condition, so pressing a follow-up without recognizing that condition is not the same as completing the sequence.

Identify the setup and the spend

Skill Function described in the official profile
Surging Heat Follows a heavy blow with fire and builds the enemy's Burn gauge
Meteor Hammer Channels additional power when Tempered Blow lands
Galactic Impact Releases Meteor Hammer's stored power in a quick heavy strike
Resonating Strike Uses that stored power for a barrage; more stored power means more attacks
Thundering Hurl Throws the hammer at a distant target using stored thunder

The choice between Galactic Impact and Resonating Strike is a useful way to think about the weapon: a quick release and an extended barrage are not identical commitments. Inspect the current unlocked skills before planning around either option.

Practice recognizing a successful setup

  1. Locate Tempered Blow and the relevant Meteor Hammer description in your current weapon tree or skill information.
  2. Watch whether the initiating attack actually lands.
  3. Check the resulting stored-power indication before attempting the release.
  4. Choose a follow-up you can finish before the enemy's next response, rather than extending the sequence only because more attacks are possible.

These steps explain how to learn the stated conditions; they are not a measured optimal combo. The official introduction does not specify a full stack cap, every input or the present SP cost of each action.

Do not plan around stacking shields

The November 7 maintenance fixed an issue where the shield effect of Unstoppable Force II could stack. A build explanation that depends on repeatedly accumulating that shield is therefore describing the bug that the patch fixed, not a reliable current feature. The notice does not say that every shield effect was removed.

The earlier October 29 letter also lists Warhammer among tuned weapons, without a complete numerical change table. Keep the broad stored-power mechanic separate from old damage demonstrations.

Decide what you need from the other weapon

The class profile contrasts Warhammer's damage-oriented approach with Axe and Shield's defensive strength. If your current difficulty is surviving the approach, compare those defensive actions before assuming a longer hammer sequence is the solution. This is a weapon-role comparison, not proof that one is always better or that a particular allocation has been personally tested.
